Each painting corresponds broadly to annual cycles, focussing on the flowers, fruits & creatures that naturally appear, or are visible in each calendar month. Flowers are depicted in various stages of growth and wildlife is included as a co-presence, representing the pollinators and seed dispersers that participate in the cycle of life in the countryside.
